It's Nengajyo (年賀状) time again. A nengajyo is a postcard many people send to their friends at the end of the year. Other people send text messages which make communicating by text impossible on New Year's Eve.And once again I wondered why anyone would pay to get this software each year. Granted each edition of the software puts together a wide range of the year's zodiac animal (like 2009's animal the cow) for use in the cards.
The kanji for 2008 was deemed "hen" or change (or strange). It looks like 2009 could be another year of change.
